Explore the Town of Lubrín

Lubrín is a small rural village nestled in the eastern foothills of the Sierra de los Filabres. It is a municipality of Almeria province in the autonomous community of Andalucia in southern Spain.

A quiet village – it is an excellent destination for those seeking a traditional Andalusian hideaway – this is real Spain!

Whilst small, it offers all the basic amenities you will need for a rural retreat. There are 2 small supermarkets, 2 butchers, a baker, 2 banks, ATM points, 3 tapas bars, 2 hardware shops, a tobacconist, pharmacy and doctor. There is also a weekly market every Wednesday which fill the streets with local sellers of fresh fruit, fish, cheeses, and vegetables.

Enjoy a walk into the village from Cortijo El Esparragal (which is only 2km on very quiet roads). Sample some local tapas and a cerveza or vino or two and experience real Spain! Visit our village olive oil and honey shops and buy some of the village’s delicious local products.
